Lubricating brakes isn't just a matter of slathering some oil or grease. Special lubricants are required because of the conditions under which brakes operate. Brake lubricants keep your brakes from making squealing or screeching noises due to vibrations, and they reduce wear and tear so your brakes will last longer.

It's dangerous to wait too long to change your brake pads. As the brakes are applied repeatedly over thousands of kilometers, the brake pads gradually wear down, reducing their ability to stop the car.

Modern disc brakes include a part called a wear indicator. A wear indicator is a small piece of metal attached to the brake pad that contacts the brake rotor when the pad material has been worn down to a certain level. When the wear indicator grinds against the rotor, it makes a squealing noise as you apply the brakes. This noise is a signal which tells you it's time to have your brakes examined.

When it comes to your brakes, we only use the highest quality of parts and lubricants. Upon request, we have original or aftermarket brake pads and rotors available. With every brake pad and rotor replacement, our licensed technicians perform a brake lubrication service.
