Book AppointmentTo register a motor vehicle as fit in Ontario, you must have a safety standards certificate. As an approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Station, we can inspect the vehicle in a timely manner and provide you with either a signed certificate if the vehicle is deemed fit or provide you with an estimate for the repairs required to meet safety standards. The certificate is valid for 36 days from the date of the inspection. The certificate is not a warranty or guarantee on the general condition of the vehicle. Fee is subject to payment regardless of vehicle's result.
Vehicle Inspection Report
With every safety inspection, we will provide you with a vehicle inspection report. This report displays mandatory information that has to be disclosed to the owner of the vehicle.
This report includes:
- Motor vehicle inspection station credentials
- Vehicle information
- Brake pads thickness (and/or shoes)
- Brake rotor thickness (and/or drums)
- Front and rear tire thread thickness
- Tire inflation pressure
- Fuel level at the time of inspection
- Disclosure of any warning lights on dash
The owner of the vehicle is required to sign the report to confirm that he or she is aware of the current state of these items

Safety Certificate
The safety standards certificate is only issued once a vehicle has repaired all safety concerns and deemed to be safe.
This certificate states Motor Vehicle Inspection Station credentials, and vehicle information. This certificate is a signed by the licensed technician who inspected the vehicle.
You will receive two copies of the certificate. One of them will be given to the Ministry of Transportation, and the other will be kept for your own personal records.
This certificate is only valid for 36 days from the date stated on the certificate.
